Eat Well, Feel Well
Spring is in the air! And as we are planning our vegetable gardens for this year, I wanted to share some thoughts.
The Foundations of our Health lie in our daily choices, especially daily food choices. Food directly impacts our health parameters like blood sugars, blood pressure, etc and greatly influences our mood, creativity and energy levels.
Nutrition recommendations should take into consideration one’s cultural and culinary preferences. Whole grains, a variety of vegetables across the color ranges, fruits in moderation, legumes, whole beans, nuts and healthy fats-these are the key ingredients of a healthy meal.
Exercise does not negate poor food choices!
